Also, as strange as it seems, people are apparently finding out about me through some other means than YouTube, which is a good sign. I’m getting a lot more visitors directly to my web site than viewers of my videos on YouTube. People are typing my name in search engines to get to my site. Also, instead of posting comments on YouTube or this BlogScape, I’m getting interesting e-mails with debates and discussions on a wide variety of topics, mostly of a religious doctrinal nature. I guess that’s what I get for writing such lyrics as I do.
Yes, I know from my advertising/marketing days, it takes a lot of work and sweat to get where you want to be in life. I personally don’t know one person who has been handed success for free. And it takes a while...often several years. God knows I’m not necessarily looking for monetary success, although it would be nice to be paid for my efforts. (That’s entirely biblical,) I am closely estimating that I have had about 10,000 hits from YouTube and this web site combined so far. Considering the type of music I write, I feel blessed with that number. How many hearts have I touched with my music? How many souls have been led to Christ through my music? How many Christians have been caused to reassess their relationship with God through my music? How many praise God for His blessings upon their lives after they hear one of my songs? I will never know until that great day of glory comes when the secrets of all hearts will be revealed. For now, I want to thank you for supporting me.
As always, love others as God has loved you. Amen.
